Billion Dollar Brain

  (1967)
In this underrated final installment of the Harry Palmer spy trilogy, Palmer (Michael Caine) has left the spy racket to work as a private eye but is sucked back in for another assignment. A U.S. general (Ed Begley) is plotting a war on Latvia using his computer -- still a novel concept in 1967 -- and Palmer must work with his old KGB rival (Oscar Homolka) to foil the general's plans. The film makes inventive use of its snowy Finnish locations.
