In director Peter Hewitt's comedic sequel, Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves), with guidance from Rufus (George Carlin), must win the Battle of the Bands to save the future -- and heavy metal. This time, the slackers' enemy is the dastardly De Nomolos (Joss Ackland), a tyrant from the distant future. Killed by their evil cyborg doubles, Bill and Ted must journey to hell and back in order to win the contest and, of course, the babes.
