After his girl gives him the boot, sad sack Peter Rooker (Marcus Thomas) finds new hope when he lands a role in a local production of "Cyrano de Bergerac" -- despite being a theatrical novice. Before you can say "proscenium," Peter gets embroiled in the intrigues of the cast, which includes the mercurial Michael Degan (John Corbett) and lovely leading lady Grace Hargrove (Amy Smart). Sean Astin and Patty Duke costar in this charming comedy.
