Kate Hudson stars in this biopic as Margaret Keane, the American painter who came to prominence in the 1950s with her pop art paintings that often featured children with large doe eyes. Keane's success was undercut by legal troubles when her husband, whose name she often used to sell her paintings early in her career, claimed authorship of her work in the 1960s, giving way to an infamous courtroom showdown.
