A wandering film director (John Melodic) on the hunt for movie plots narrates this dreamlike work based on Michelangelo Antonioni's collection of short stories, "That Bowling Alley on the Tiber." Winner of the Venice Film Festival's FIPRESCI Prize, the film revolves around puzzling and unsettled relationships in France and Italy, intertwining four tales of love and lust. John Malkovich and Sophie Marceau round out an eclectic international cast.
