This documentary traces the paths of two surfers -- one who volunteered for service, the other who evaded the draft -- to chronicle a unique subculture. The film also examines how surfing life changed stateside, and other surfer vets discuss their lives before, during and after the war. Big Wednesday director John Milius narrates.
