Beowulf

Set in the future, this interpretation of the 8th century Anglo-Saxon poem follows a powerful nomadic warrior on a noble quest to kill a flesh-eating fiend. After rescuing lady Pendra (Patricia Velasquez) from evildoers, Beowulf (Christopher Lambert) finds himself drawn to a remote fortress to combat Grendel, a monstrous creature who's feasting on the outpost's denizens. But Beowulf harbors a secret that could prove his undoing.
