A cute Welsh terrier follows Bill (Farley Granger) home one day, and he and his wife, Kate (Shelley Winters), decide to adopt the stray pooch. However, this dog has been trained to work for the mob, and soon the couple finds themselves caught in the middle of a mob war. When dead bodies of mafia goons start piling up all around him, will clumsy Bill figure out exactly what's going on?
