Beetlejuice

Thanks to an untimely demise, a young couple (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) ends up as poltergeists in their New England farmhouse, where they fail to meet the challenge of scaring away the insufferable new owners in this creepy comic classic. In desperation, the undead newlyweds turn to an expert frightmeister named Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) -- who has a diabolical agenda behind his scheme to help them. The movie snagged an Oscar for Best Makeup.
