What leads teenagers to kill their peers with guns and firepower? That's the question this film, based on a play that's been produced at schools all over the nation, attempts to answer. Trevor Adams (Ben Foster) is a smart kid who's feeling cowed by the popular crowd. Marginalized and lonely, he finds companionship in the Trogs, a group that voices its disgruntlement through pranks and, later, deadly assault. Can a concerned teacher save him?
