In this lauded BBC comedy series, Father Peter (Stephen Tompkinson) arrives at the gorgeous Irish mountain town of Ballykissangel armed only with easygoing, youthful energy and high expectations. But as he gets acquainted with the quirky townsfolk, he finds that while service is easy, staying sane is not. A feisty loather of organized religion and a fiery, wealthy donor to the church are among the characters Peter meets in the first season.
