Young Frankie Rogers (Jimmy Lydon) hasn't had many breaks in life in this painful drama by William K. Howard. For one, his father is an alcoholic, and his mother is his father's punching bag. Consequently, no one's surprised when Frankie starts acting out and eventually lands in an institution. His problems go from bad to worse years later, though, when an older Frankie (Wallace Ford) exits juvenile hall and winds up committing murder.
