In director Ishirô Honda's sci-fi classic, the evil undersea empire Mu -- once a continent that ruled the planet -- threatens to destroy the world, and it's up to Capt. Hachiro Jinguji (Jun Tazaki) and his supersub, the Atragon, to save the day. It seems the Mu kingdom is bent on reconquering Earth, but Jinguji is reluctant to use the Atragon against the aquatic invaders … until they kidnap his daughter (Yôko Fujiyama).
