B-movie king Roger Corman directed this low-budget sword-and-sandal epic starring Frank Wolff as the evil king Proximates the Tyrant, who convinces the muscle-bound title character (Michael Forest) to help fight his battles. Soon, however, the mighty Atlas begins to see the king's true colors. Before long, he's battling his former master for the hand of a beautiful princess (Barboura Morris) in this adventure shot on location in Greece.
