When honest but hotheaded cop Surendra (T. Gopichand) falls in love with Archana (Gowri Pandit), the daughter of the police commissioner, the parents settle the match -- even though Archana is of Bihar origin and Surendra is not. Just as they're about to get engaged, however, Surendra has second thoughts, and Archana flees to Bihar, where she agrees to marry another man. Now, Surendra must try to win her back before it's too late.
