In this offbeat film from writer-director Michael Covert, an assortment of sad sacks, oddballs and outsiders converge on a desert diner, where their frustrations boil over. The eclectic group includes a serial-killing huckster (John Savage); a wimpy, unemployed family man (Eric Roberts); an inscrutable brunette (Jennifer Tilly); a suicidal man (Luke Perry) who can't pull the trigger; and two chatty gangsters (Joe Viterelli and James Russo).
