In the midst of a serious depression, a food writer (Bates) changes her career path by training to become an emergency medical technician, hoping that in the process of saving others, she may just save herself. Originally aired on the Lifetime channel, the film co-stars Michael Bach, Robin Thomas and Marcia Kash.
