Author Lewis Carroll's classic tale returns to its darker roots in this made-for-TV version, which was produced by the BBC and features a musical score by Ravi Shankar. Jonathan Miller directs legendary thespians such as Sir Michael Redgrave, Sir John Gielgud and Peter Sellers, as a Victorian-era Alice (Anne-Marie Mallik) exposes the middle class's foibles.
