Two incompetent Western outlaws (Fred Williamson -- who also wrote, produced and directed -- and Richard Pryor) engineer several failed crimes, including a dunderheaded real estate scam and a botched stagecoach holdup. Fred "The Hammer" Williamson, a tough-guy perennial in blaxploitation movies, performs a rare comedy turn here as a blundering patsy to Pryor's slick con man. Together, they exhibit some nice comic chemistry.
