In the eighth season of the ABC sitcom, Jim (Jim Belushi) and Cheryl (Courtney Thorne-Smith) get reacquainted with child rearing now that the twins are born. Meanwhile, the family readies for the departure of the newly married Dana (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), which means Cheryl will need a new best pal. The program also stars Larry Joe Campbell as Jim's partner in business and partner in crime, Andy.
