When a dedicated and decorated cop (Christopher Reeve) falls prey to a drug dealer's bullet and is paralyzed for life, his brother (Joe Mantegna) and wife (Kim Cattrall) begin fooling around. A $1 million insurance policy further fuels Reeve's suspicions and rage, which ultimately explode in a vengeful -- and mysterious -- crime where everyone is a suspect.
