As a school administrator, Cal Peterson (Gerald McRaney) maintains a composed certainty about his job duties -- that is, until he falls for music teacher Lily Waite (Naomi Judd). Arriving in town to close down Lily's school for budget reasons, Cal finds his mind-set challenged as he witnesses the wonderful power of music. Andy Griffith appears as Cal's father in this delightful holiday film directed by Bobby Roth.
