Nathalie (Claudine Auger) is beautiful and vibrant but feels stuck in an unhappy relationship. When she meets French journalist Gilles (Marc Porel), the pair have an immediate attraction and soon begin a life together. But it's only a short time before Gilles's attitude changes from blissful, lovestruck happiness to a dissatisfied feeling of failure that Nathalie struggles to comprehend. Features a supporting performance by Gerard Depardieu.
