A Chinese Tall Story

Tang monk Tripitaka (Nicholas Tse) must free his three disciples from the clutches of malevolent tree spirits in this mind-blowing tale from director Jeffrey Lau. On the way to reclaim some legendary Buddhist scriptures, Tripitaka sees his followers (Kenny Kwan, Stephen Cheung and Wilson Chen) captured, leaving Tripitaka to fend for himself. When he finds an unlikely ally in an amorous lizard imp (Charlene Choi), they set off to save the trio.
