Drifter Sandy Saunders (John Wayne) helps Charlie Denton and his daughter Fay in their battle against a local bully who's forcing farmers off their land in Riders of Destiny. The Star Packer casts Wayne as a U.S. marshal who investigates a series of unsolved murders linked to a mysterious figure known as the Shadow. More than just a straightforward Western, Star Packer features elements of both horror and melodrama.
