A priest (Pankaj Kapur) and his wife (Supriya Pathak) find their lives forever changed when they decide to adopt a baby left on their doorstep. When the child's mother shows up four years later and reveals that she's a Muslim, it prompts them to question their Hindu faith. Given a choice between the love he feels for his child and the love he has for his god, which love will the priest ultimately choose?
