Cop turned insurance investigator John Grismer (Shawn Doyle) reluctantly takes on the case of the mysteriously vanished Zenia Arden (Mary-Louise Parker), a femme fatale journalist whose closest pals had strong reasons for wanting her dead -- and even stronger alibis. Parker delivers an Emmy-nominated performance in this adaptation of the Margaret Atwood novel. Wendy Crewson, Susan Lynch and Amanda Root co-star as Zenia's three not-so-friendly friends.
