Wives Under Suspicion

Hard-line prosecutor Jim Stowell (Warren William) wins a big murder case, which sends an elderly professor to the electric chair for killing his wife. But when Stowell notices strange behavior from his own wife and a young man, his suspicions of infidelity lead him to seriously contemplate murder himself. James Whale directs this remake of his own film A Kiss Before the Mirror, which was released only five years earlier.
