The first serial -- 1948's Superman -- covers everything from Superman's arrival on Earth to his battle with the evil Spider Lady. The second -- 1950's Atom Man vs. Superman -- finds the superhero attempting to thwart Lex Luthor (disguised as Atom Man) in his plans to nuke Metropolis.
