The eighth and last entry in Blake Edwards's long-running, classic series stars Roberto Benigni as Jacques Gambrelli -- the illegitimate son of the bumbling Inspector Clouseau -- who eagerly takes the lead in investigating the kidnapping of Lugash royal family member Princess Yasmin (Debrah Farentino) by a terrorist named Hans (Robert Davi). Herbert Lom (as the long-suffering Inspector Dreyfus) and Claudia Cardinale co-star.
