Fowler (Jerry Lewis) is a simple guy who's saddled with the unpleasant task of taking care of his stepmother and egotistic stepbrothers, Maximilian and Rupert, in this updated twist on the classic Cinderella tale. Disappointed that he's been left at home while the others attend the big ball, Fowler's visited by his fairy godfather, who grants him elegance, glamour and some smooth dance moves so he can win the heart of his Princess Charming.
