Glittering disco balls illuminate the roller rink in this 1970s musical romance. After running away from her disapproving, tightly wound Beverly Hills parents, Terry (Linda Blair) heads to funky Venice Beach, where she meets hunky skater Bobby (Jim Bray). The duo decide to compete as a team in the local roller boogie contest, but before they can skate to the disco beat, they must stop an unscrupulous businessman from shutting down the rink.
