In this faithful adaptation of the celebrated Charles Dickens novel set during the tumultuous years of the French Revolution, British lawyer Sydney Carton (Dirk Bogarde) crosses paths with the kind-hearted Lucie Manette (Dorothy Tutin), changing the course of his life forever. But Lucie's heart belongs to Charles Darnay (Paul Guers), which sends Carton reeling. Also includes a documentary on the making of the film.
