Dennis Hopper directs and stars in this movie that mines his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction. Hopper plays the alcoholic father of a teenager named Cebe (Linda Manz), who leads a rootless life in Vancouver. A tough kid who's had to grow up too fast, Cebe hopes that her parents -- who were estranged after her father was jailed for a tragic drunk driving accident -- will reconcile, paving the way for the happily ever after she longs for.
