A Disney favorite is given a charming prequel (penned by the writer who concocted the first movie) with this story chronicling the stallion's friendship with a girl named Neera. World War II has separated Neera from her grandfather, who's stuck in Arabia. When the lonely girl finds a wild horse in the desert, she claims it for her own and names it Shetan. She's soon reunited with her granddad, but longs for, and dreams of, the "lost horse of the desert."
