In 1903, the ruler of an undersea kingdom of humanlike creatures who never age sees a woman on land who looks like the reincarnation of the his deceased wife. This traumatic sighting is the catalyst for a chain of events, leading to a war between the human world and this underwater community of the past. Based on a line from an Edgar Allen Poe work and starring Vincent Price, this unusual sci-fi adventure was a much-loved drive-in classic.
