Miami newspaper reporter Malcolm Anderson (Kurt Russell) is fed up with writing about murder. But just when he's about to hand in his resignation, he receives a surprising call from the murderer mentioned in his latest article -- a serial slayer known as the "Numbers Killer." Anderson goes back to work, but the more he writes, the closer he comes to harm. Andy Garcia, Joe Pantoliano and Mariel Hemingway co-star in this grisly thriller.
