A gang of eunuchs is attempting to overthrow the Ming Dynasty, and sibling assassins Sister Ko (Michelle Yeoh) and Brother Sing (Tony Leung) must infiltrate the group to stop them in this Hong Kong action thriller from director Michael Mak (Dragon Inn). Based on a serialized swordplay novel by popular Chinese pulp writer Gu Long, the film features spectacular action sequences staged by the legendary Ching Siu-tung (A Chinese Ghost Story).
