Juan (Christopher Rydell) has a dream of someday becoming a famous bullfighter. But after an illegal and dangerous evening fight, he meets the glamorous Dona Sol (Sharon Stone) -- the beautiful daughter of a rich American landowner -- and falls in love immediately. The only problem is, Juan is already married to Carmen (Ana Torrent), and love turns out to be an even riskier business than bullfighting.
