Looking for a challenge, idealistic teacher Richard Clark (Jon Lovitz) chucks his post at a posh private academy for a position at the district's worst public high school, where gangs and guns rule the day. Things are so bad, in fact, that the school boasts its own cemetery! Still, Clark is intent on getting through to his lunkheaded, apathetic charges … even if it means locking horns with militaristic principal Evelyn Doyle (Louise Fletcher).
