The same day he's released from prison, two-time felon Rob Douglas (Brian Hooks) finds himself in the crosshairs of a shootout involving his best friend and a police officer. Despite Rob's innocence, he knows he'll face 25 years to life if he's caught and convicted -- thanks to the state's new "Three Strikes" program. So Rob flees the scene, running from the cops and from the boys in the 'hood for deserting one of their own.
