The third season of this acclaimed real-time show begins three years after the end of Season 2. CTU agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is in bad shape and struggling with drug problems, but he'll need to be at the top of his game for the next 24 hours. Terrorists are threatening to release a deadly virus into Los Angeles unless Ramon Salazar -- the man Jack spent a year of his life trying to catch -- is released from prison.
