1942: A Love Story

In a small Himalayan town, Rajeshwari (Manisha Koirala) and Naren (Anil Kapoor) meet and fall passionately in love -- even as the world around them crumbles. But when a band of revolutionaries propelled by a charismatic leader comes to town, the spirit of freedom threatens Naren and Rajeshwari's future together. The film is set during the "Quit India" movement, when the government used violence to suppress citizens' civil disobedience.
