Directed by Airplane's David Zucker, this loopy spoof profiles Joe Cooper and Doug Remer (South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone), two slackers whose made-up sport BASEketball becomes a national craze. Hoping to cash in on the basketball/baseball hybrid's exploding popularity, promoter Ted Denslow (Ernest Borgnine) organizes a professional league. But greedy team owners such as Baxter Cain (Robert Vaughn) soon corrupt the sport.
