Stand-up comic Tim Thomerson makes his starring debut as Jack Deth, a cop in 23rd century Los Angeles -- now underwater as a result of a new Ice Age. Elements of The Terminator and Blade Runner collide when Jack zaps back to 1985 Los Angeles to wipe out the zombie-like minions of criminal mastermind Martin Whistler (Art La Fleur). Several sequels featuring the Jack Deth character followed. Helen Hunt appears as Mrs. Deth.
